Welcome to Physio Soleil. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the booking of appointments through our online booking system.
By using this website or booking an appointment, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the website or booking services.
1. About Our Services
Physio Soleil provides physiotherapy assessment and treatment, at our treatment location and at the client’s home.
The information provided on this website is intended for general informational and appointment-booking purposes. It does not replace individualized professional assessment, diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice where applicable.
2. Booking an Appointment
Appointments may be requested through our online booking system.
When making a booking, you agree to provide accurate and complete information, including:
-
Your full name and contact information
-
The address where the home visit will take place, where a home visit is requested
-
Relevant information required to provide the service safely and appropriately
-
Any other information requested during the booking process
You are responsible for ensuring that the information provided is accurate.
If you make a booking for another person, you confirm that you are authorized to do so and to provide the information requested on that person’s behalf.
A booking is considered confirmed only when you receive a confirmation from Physio Soleil through our email physiosoleil@gmail.com.
We reserve the right to contact you if additional information is required before confirming an appointment.
3. Appointments
At our treatment location
Appointments at our treatment location are held at 3744, rue Ontario Est, Montréal (Québec) H1W 1S2. The Practice occupies premises within another clinic at that address. The physiotherapy services you receive are provided by the Practice, and your clinical record is created and held by the Practice.
Please arrive at the time of your appointment. Where you arrive late, the appointment may be shortened so that it ends at the scheduled time.
At your home
For a home visit, you are responsible for providing a reasonably safe and suitable environment for the professional to provide the service.
Please ensure that:
-
The professional can safely access the property.
-
The correct address and any necessary access instructions have been provided.
-
Any relevant building, parking, entry, elevator, or security information is communicated in advance.
-
Pets are appropriately secured when necessary.
-
The treatment area is reasonably clean, accessible, and suitable for the planned service.
If the professional determines that the environment is unsafe or unsuitable, the appointment may be postponed, modified, or cancelled.
4. Appointment Times
We make every reasonable effort to arrive within the scheduled appointment time.
Because home visits involve travel and circumstances outside our control, there may occasionally be delays. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you if we expect to be significantly delayed.
Similarly, you are expected to be available at the agreed appointment time.
If you are not available when the professional arrives, the appointment may be considered a missed appointment and applicable cancellation or missed-appointment fees may apply.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours notice.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the appointment fee.
Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may require a deposit or prepayment before future appointments can be booked.
Exceptions may be considered at our discretion in circumstances such as genuine emergencies or weather events.
These amounts are assessed case by case, are not automatic, and may be reduced or waived. A fee that is charged is invoiced to you and is payable in cash or by e-transfer; we do not keep a payment card on file.
6. Missed Appointments
If you do not attend or are not available for a scheduled home visit and have not provided adequate notice, the appointment may be treated as a missed appointment.
A missed-appointment fee of $50 may apply.
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible.
7. Fees and Payment
The applicable price for your appointment will be displayed during the booking process or communicated to you before the appointment.
Payment is due at each appointment and is accepted in cash or by e-transfer. A receipt is provided for each payment.
You agree to pay all applicable fees for services provided.
8. Insurance and Reimbursement
If you intend to submit your appointment to an insurance company or other third-party payer, you are responsible for determining whether the services are eligible for reimbursement.
We cannot guarantee that an insurance provider will reimburse any particular service or amount. Some insurances may require you to have a prescription from your doctor to cover the costs.
Upon request, Physio Soleil provides receipts or documentation for insurance purposes, subject to applicable requirements.
Where you ask us to communicate information to an insurer, the CNESST or the SAAQ, we do so only on the authorization recorded in the consent and service form you sign.
9. Health and Safety
You are responsible for informing Physio Soleil or the treating professional of any relevant medical, physical, or safety information that may affect the provision of services.
You should inform us in advance of any circumstances that may affect the safety of the home visit, including significant mobility limitations, infectious illness, aggressive animals, unsafe access conditions, or other relevant hazards.
We reserve the right to postpone or cancel a home visit if we reasonably believe that providing the service would present an unacceptable safety risk to the client or professional.
10. Emergencies
Our services are not intended to replace emergency medical services.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency or a condition requiring immediate medical attention, contact your local emergency services or seek appropriate urgent medical care.
Do not use the website or appointment-booking system for emergency medical assistance.
11. Professional Services
Booking an appointment does not guarantee that a particular treatment, procedure, or outcome will be provided.
The professional providing the service will determine the appropriate assessment and treatment approach based on the client’s individual circumstances and professional judgment.
No specific health outcome or result is guaranteed.
Your consent to physiotherapy assessment and treatment is recorded separately, in the consent and service form you sign before services begin.
12. Privacy and Personal Information
When you book an appointment, you may be asked to provide personal information necessary to process your booking and provide services.
We will handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy legislation.
Please review our Privacy Policy for information about how personal information is collected, used, stored, and disclosed.

15. Third-Party Services
Our website or booking system may use third-party services, such as payment processors, appointment-booking platforms, mapping services, communication services, or other technology providers.
Our website and online booking are operated through Wix. Appointments, client information and clinical records are managed in Jane. Home exercise programs are prepared and delivered through Wibbi. Our Privacy Policy describes what each of these providers receives and where it is processed.
Your use of these services may also be subject to the terms and privacy policies of those third parties.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Physio Soleil will not be responsible for losses, damages, delays, or interruptions resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms limits the professional liability of the physiotherapist providing services or the obligations owed to a client under the rules governing the practice of physiotherapy.
17. Changes to Appointments or Services
We reserve the right to change or cancel an appointment when reasonably necessary, including due to illness, professional availability, severe weather, unsafe travel conditions, emergencies, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you and, where possible, offer an alternative appointment.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The updated version will be posted on this website with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the website or booking services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
A change affecting the fees, the cancellation terms or the services is brought to your attention before it takes effect and does not apply to an appointment already booked.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Quebec, Canada.
Any dispute relating to these Terms or to the services provided by Physio Soleil is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Québec, in the judicial district of Montréal.
20. Order of Precedence

-
the consent and service form prevails on your consent to assessment and treatment and on the fees applicable to you;
-
the Privacy Policy prevails on the collection, use, communication, retention and destruction of your personal information; and
-
these Terms prevail on the use of the website and on the booking of appointments.
-
